Thanks! Yes, it's finished (mostly), so this is my first attempt at serializing something before releasing it. Mainly wrote in a different genre before, where the audience wasn't so community-oriented.
Day-by-day? Whoa. If you do that, count me in as moral support.
From the first paragraph, I was thinking "Hitchiker's." Nice.
So at first I thought you were giving yourself a writing challenge, but if you're planning a release in June, you must already have it all written and you're just doling it out.
Might be fun to do something like this as a live day-by-day pantser challenge. Fun, but scary. I might try that.
Hey, my name’s Jake McBride (a fellow McBride)! How’s it going? I published a sci-fi dark comedy (my first ever novel, actually) very recently and came across your title in recent publications. Some McBride magic going on there!! Thought you’d like to know a fellow McBride is inspired by Douglas Adams, and thought to write and publish a book, of very similar-sounding genre and content, at roughly the same time as another McBride. The world, it baffles.
My novel is called Don’t Miss The Boat if you did fancy checking it out, anyway. Looking forward to our next serendipitous simultaneous book release!
Hey Jake, what are the chances of that happening? That's definitely not a coincidence, but rather a larger albeit obscure plan at work. Just not sure to what end... But it's going to be awesome.
Just ordered your book and will start reading it right away!
Hey again Travis! I've tried to buy your book (on various handheld technologies...) but, as I don't own a Kindle, I'm unable to purchase it. I'm able to read the sample but there's no purchase option aside from that. Any ideas how I can get my hands/eyes on a copy? Digital or print? Thank you!
Also, I read your bio and I had to beckon my wife over... We seem to be very similar! I'm also into running. And woods. And running in the woods! We even seem to write similarly... Very, very odd. I'm assuming you're US based? I'm a man of English countryside. Intrigued to hear from you on the above at your convenience. Cheers!

Hey Travis! I'm all for the larger albeit obscure plan, especially if the outcome is awesome.
Amazing! Appreciate that, sir. I'll order yours today and post a review here once read. Are we on the cusp of a McBook club?
